We checked in on June 30th. We were initially supposed to be 3 but only 2 showed up for the first night due to flight issues. The check in process was good and the owners are nice. The first thing we asked was about the air condition and they failed to mentioned that it wasn't working. Second if you try to use the controls inside the home, it stops running automatically. WE WERE LIED AND MISLED. Note, it was June and it was HOT. The first night, I had to ask them several times to turn the AC on for one for the rooms as it is controlled by them. I didn't sleep at all as the AC wasn't working. I complained the next day and told them I couldn't sleep. We were out during the morning and I returned in the afternoon the next day. At that time, they had some workers fixing the AC or some pipes. They came into the B&B 5 or 6 times in the space of 2 hours providing no privacy. The AC wasn't fixed nor there was any communication on it. We all struggled to sleep the second night. We opened the windows but the HOME IS CLOSE TO THE ROAD, such that it was so loud. We had booked this place with AC being one of our needs and that wasn't provided. It was the most unconfortable two nights and we paid a lot of money for it. On top of that, they were asking for more tax money than that was owed. They charged us 24 euros with 3 euros per person per night and because we used two rooms on the first night instead of one since only 2 showed up, they charged us a another 6 euros. So they were charging us for someone not there one night and also charging us extra to use the whole space even though we booked it all. Booking.com showed a different tax amount. I mentioned it to them and they were not phased by the extra charge. I have messages on WhatsApp with them as well on the taxes. So far the taxes aren't paid as we are owed some form of compensation for an awful stay.
