Guests enjoyed a lovely weekend at the hotel with excellent breakfast and a newly refurbished room. The only downsides were a lack of hanging rails for towels in the bathroom and a poor view of the d (Read More)isused swimming pool. The staff were helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located near activities in Babbacombe, Torquay, and Paignton. Overall, guests found the hotel worth visiting again.

A lovely couple run this. I have spoken to them a number of times and stayed here on a number of occasions. I'm currently very unwell, living out of my car and on distress due to being homeless through no fault of my own and being abused and neglected by Torbay Council, tsdft, dpnhst and public enemy number one.

Bad

Filthy, uncomfortable, expensive,illegal fire regs., shouldnt be open as a hotel. Surprised at Booking.com advertising

Dirty tobacco sprinkled all over the side table. This means someone had been smoking in there and that it had not been cleaned. No toiletries to shower with. Wrapper from a sanitary towel left on the window sill in the bathroom. Mattress was so old when you went down in it the indent stayed. Fire escape instructions just general saying get out - so non existent and they were on the back of the door so high and in such small print they couldnt be read. I had to photograph them with my phone to read them. I would have thought this was illegal. There was a chair to sit in as you came out of the lift but when you sat in it, it immediately collapsed because one of the legs was broken off so they had propped it there as a joke? Radiator valve in my room broken so unusable.

Really great

Our room was basic but thats what we expected and we were very happy with it. Proper cotton sheets allowed for a really great comfy sleep. The breakfast was really good.. decent quality sausages & bacon. For what we paid we were over the moon

Nothing to not like. If I were being picky the TV didnt work well but I didnt bother mentioning it ...... Theres nothing on worth watching anyhow.

Superb

Great night sleep.

I have a huge room with a nice view over the swimming pool. Nice and quiet with extra pillows as I have requested. Had a great sleep. Thank you so much.

My work did not allow me a time to go to the bar area with live music playing that night.
