    From the moment we entered, we felt at home. The wonderful receptions was so friendly and chatty, and also let us check in early as our room was ready. The room was beautiful, full of old world charm withnall the mod cons. We slept really well. Breakfast was served in a beautiful room, and then food was gorgeous. I had the omelette hubby had the full Irish. I would highly recommend this hotel.

    Excellent hotel with welcoming staff
    Breakfast was delicious and all the staff were so friendly. The night porter was so lovely, he even made us a late night snack when we got in as it was New Years Eve and nowhere was open! Great location and great traditional bar attached to the hotel.

    I love a warm , traditional , family run hotel, like the Arbutus and it is an excellent example of one. The breakfast was lovely !

    The room had a strong musty smell and the walls had evidence of dampness. Very disappointing.
