    A good option for a quick getaway to kumarakom
    The staff is very earnest and tries hard to make us comfortable. From reception to housekeeping to the boat ride, they kept checking on our comfort every step of the way, and were flexible with the checkout time.
    The boat ride didn't really show the narrow channels of the backwaters, but only the open sea. If we had known earlier we may have booked something separately. The fitness centre has very limited resources and many machines don't work. The check-in and check-out processes are quite slow.

    Quite peaceful stay!
    The property is located in a serene place right next to Vembanad lake having an really good view . The staff is very courteous and helpful. Food is exceptionally good!
    Would prefer a cottage any day over the deluxe rooms.

    Highly recommended for all travellers!
    This is a wonderful hotel right on the lake with a lovely swimming pool and calming gardens. As a first time solo traveller it was the perfect place to start my adventures in India. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming and the free evening boat trips and tea/snacks are very special. Particular thanks to Ayyappan and Sindhu for all their help and kindness and also to the lovely women in the restaurant and the spa (apologies I didnt catch your names). Highly recommend for families, couples and solo travellers!

    Great place, location for the lake and superb staff.
    Hotel was lovely, very quiet which I think made the restaurant experience a little awkward. Surroundings were amazing and in particular Sindhi Nair was amazingly helpful
    I think it should be made clearer to western travellers that alcohol is not easily available and can only be consumed in your room. I would also recommend additional training in the restaurant, the team were great but I felt I was being closely watched and it was uncomfortable.
