The location was fine. The indoor area - sitting room was good.
Wouldve been good to know there are drying facilities for outdoor gear that we could access. Also the room window was tricky to open!

Location and the view out onto the lake.
Extremely loud guests coming in at all hours of the night, banging doors & being loud. There is absolutely no sound proof so you can hear everything from the other rooms/hallways.
The TV is very old and tiny and the furniture is pretty outdated.

Generally clean & tidy plenty of teas,coffee, hot chocolate & biscuits supplied & a little dog treat bag which is a nice touch - scored low on cleaning as there were several cob webs in the bathroom over the shower, which looked to have been there a while.
Also small thing but annoyingly the tv channels for bbc wouldnt work, (we w wanted to watch the. NYE celebrations), however we finally managed to get bbc1 on channel 736!?? TVs need tuning in correctly

Beautiful location and room was lovely. However, staff were not around much. No breakfast on some days. Dog friendly but not allowed in the breakfast area or not allowed to be left unattended whilst you have breakfast.

Rooms are great in the Lodges
New Year's Day on checkout. No pressure to leave at the scheduled 10.00 which was great, but the breakfast offering was only available until 10.00, which was a bit early for us.

What a fabulous place to stay!
Fabulous location. Lovely friendly staff. Really lovely comfortable room and bed. Exceptionally clean and well presented. Would definitely return except its all booked up.
The breakfast was the only let-down. Not bad but not great.
