    The Clarence Inn Extended Stay is a cute motel with nicely decorated rooms and comfortable beds. Some guests found the rooms a bit chilly at night, but otherwise comfortable. The owner is friendly an (Read More)d accommodating, even providing extra space for bicycles. The hotel is clean, quiet, and close to amenities. A few minor issues were mentioned, such as a faulty door lock and small kitchen sink. Overall, guests were pleased with the cleanliness, comfort, and affordability of the inn.

    When we first arrived at the motel we were placed in a room that was a little bit outdated and we had difficulty sleeping at night because the heater was very loud when it ran. We also had issues with the toilet We contacted the owner-operator and they were so very accommodating and moved us into such a great room. It truly was a wonderful relaxing experience for us

    Never stay here! Disgusting attitude towards customers!

    Disgusting attitude towards customers!!! You are being misled when providing the rooms you ordered. We booked a room with a kitchen with stove through booking.com. However, upon arrival they refused to provide us with a room with a kitchen. They said that a room with a kitchen is only available for stays of 4 days or more. This information was not available when booking. For us, having a kitchen was a fundamental factor. Since we arrived in the evening, we had to stay one night. We contacted the hotel owner several times. However, before you check in, they send you an SMS saying that they are always in touch, but in fact, after you check in, you wont be able to contact anyone. They refused to refund the money for the unused night. Nobody responded to our messages. Only through Bookingcom they replied that they would not refund anything. We have stayed here before. We also spent three days trying to find someone who would give us fresh towels. In fact, we don't recommend doing this. You are being misled when booking rooms. There is simply no soundproofing. And if you come across some neighbors having fun, you are guaranteed a sleepless night. The toilet actually didn't work. It is impossible to sleep on the pillows.

    Clarence Inn - a clean property
    Great location. I liked the self check-in. We got a text stating that our room was ready, 3 hours before the published check-in time! And the key and receipt were ready in the room when we arrived (no office visit needed). The owner happened to be outside when we pulled in, and greeted us. I found the coffee from the drip coffee machine to be remarkably good.
    A couple of things. The TV kept pixellating, and we could not figure out how to turn on the shower. I left a note stating that, and hopefully next time we wouldn't experience those issues.

    Good budget motel if youre staying in the finger lakes.
    Location was good with lots of parking. Wi-Fi worked well.
    The room is definitely dated and the bathroom was clean but so old it felt dirty even though it wasnt.

    The cleaner lady was really nice and did a great job. The place looks cozy and nice.
    The bathroom is really old The ac kept shutting off and really noisy Internet reception within the rooms not great The location is really far from downtown

    The stay could have been better with a little more attention to details.
    The location was excellent. The room space was good. The checkin instructions texted just before we reached were good. Cleanliness was good.
    When we checked in there was no soap or shampoo. We had to call for it. We also had to call for tea bags and creamer. These were not replenished. After the room cleaning we found the bed was made up shabily. It was very difficult to open the door lock. The maid was flattering us. too much. Instead she could have taken care of the above.

    Someone turned on the AC unit and decided that noise coming was acceptable
    Having access, check-in, checkout sent via text. It was within a short drive to my destination. The fridge was large.
    Someone turned on the window AC unit and decided that the noise coming out was acceptable. It was intolerably loud and squeaky. The rain that night made annoying drip noises onto (I'm guessing) the AC. The shower is intolerably short and the toilet is similarly sized. Could use some USB plugs.
