We had a nice stay, but was a lower class than expected. Wished we didnt do the NYE dinner and saved $300 instead.

Lovely, quaint, nice location. Staff were very nice. Breakfast buffet was awesome.

The upgraded Deluxe King Suite was nice but we expected better for the price we paid to get the better room. Needed maintenance. Moldy shower curtain, ripped curtains, peeling wall paper, leaky shower/bath faucet (difficult to operate and put in just right position), grease stains in carpet. Could hear every foot step from room above us. Evening music thumping from dining room below. New Years Eve dinner was disappointing as it was a set menu that wasnt the same when originally reserving and expensive for proportion sizes.

Great stay for the whole family!

We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary and stayed at the Cliff House. Christmas at the Cliff House is exquisite! We had 4 rooms and everyone in our party was satisfied. The staff was very courteous. We enjoyed the restaurant and waiters and had a. Overall wonderful time!

The historic building is beautiful and our room was unique and lovely. There was a great fireplace that was romantic and fun to enjoy. The staff was so kind and welcoming. We were celebrating our wedding and they gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolates on the bed to celebrate. They went above and beyond for us.

I tried to use the jacuzzi tub but the water couldnt get hot enough. Not sure if the heating element wasnt strong enough or the water wasnt arm enough to enjoy this. Shower was okay.

Poor service.

Very blan no flavor

Has black mold in bathroom, exhaust fan in bathroom was banging so bad I thought it was going to catch fire. Ceiling panel fell out a lacerated my leg. Valet left dome light on in the truck after parking it. Dead battery in the morning. Had to buy a new one. Had to change plans for our anniversary trip very disappointed. No compensation offered..

Disappointing

Disappointed that our favorite place did not provide the amenities we paid for and love.

Hello, my fianc and I discovered your hotel about six years ago and it is one of our favorite places to visit. We try to get there as much as possible, and on our fifth anniversary, I proposed at the Cliffhouse and we got engaged. We love Manitou and appreciate the location, dining services, and excellent customer service when we visit. We also appreciate that the amenities generally work in the room. This time was different though. When we arrived in our room, we immediately noticed a sewer smell that persisted throughout our trip. in addition, the fireplace was not working. Facilities was able to come start the fireplace, but since we did not arrive until about 8 oclock in the evening, when the fireplace continue to go out the rest of the evening and night, there was no one to fix it. we only had a night to spend and that is why we deliberately chose the Cliffhouse because we are used to all of the amenities working. It was disappointing that we were not able to utilize the fireplace that we paid for and both enjoy using, particularly on a cold winter night.

Exceptional

Exceptional! My husband and I were treated like royalty, we would love to go back to this property!

The buffet breakfast was exceptional at this hotel. The food was fresh and delicious, the staff were wonderful, the breakfast room was super clean, quite, and had a wonderful view. It was such a relaxing breakfast.

Everything was exceptional, I cannot think of anything that needed improving.

Great place for a mini staycation

The location was great, the ambience of the historical hotel was lovely, and all the staff were great and friendly. The historical photos and displays added to the experience.

The soundproofing was lacking, so that people in the corridors were easily heard in the room, and the heater was very loud.
