1. Main entrance's smart lock system was not in place so had to use the conventional 4 digit code in a lock box to obtain a key that opens the main entrance. That was fine except the lock box was finnicky and on the second night of our stay, it simply would not accept the code we entered (to turn the thumb knob down). This was distressing with a newborn waiting for a change. There was no direct contact number to the host, or at least the number went to a screened voicemail first. After maybe 15min of fidgeting, my husband finally managed to get it to open by using a bottle opener as a lever.
2. We had 2 King suites (1 on ground floor, 1 on first floor). The ground floor suite had the "living room" which was essentially a square table with 2 chairs, or at least I assume that is the living room. That ground floor suite also had a standing clothes rack which was helpful because there was barely any hanging space on the walls anywhere. The first floor suite did not have the table-chair set nor the standing clothes rack so the whole place feels inconsistent.
Overall the pictures does look better than in person. The idea of flipping an old building as accommodations is a good idea but the quality of finishes is lacking. Power sockets are a little loose when I plugged in my multiplug wall adapter. Turning on the bathroom light simultaneously turns on the vent (loud) as well so not great for those who would like to sleep with some light on or have a baby. Bathroom sliding door only has a handle on the outside, none on the inside. The entire unit only has ONE hanging rod which has space for ONE towel.
