    The location is wonderful, the property is beautiful. The owner Tom is extremely friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble. The other staff are extremely helpful. The breakfast is delicious perfect for a day in the lakes.

    Terrible service and hotel show no care to the guests
    We were coming from 4+hrs driving. We didn't manage to check in due to the wrong info provided by the hotel that the road was clear and safe to drive in but actually it was not. We were stuck in the heavy snowfall nearby the hotel , called many times to the hotel but no one answered and no reply on the messages too. We have a small boy together stuck in the car for the whole night and hotel shows no care. Next day I sent in message and requested for cancellation & refund , they then replied with declining my request. It is not cheap and we have to book another hotel but the whole thing is that they show no care which is unacceptable.

    Tom and his staff were fantastic we arrived in the middle of a snow storm they checked us in early and continued to do everything they could for us the entire stay . There are worst places to be snowed in than this fantastic warm cosy hotel
