Nice hotel, let down by the temp heating situation - and be aware the sockets don't work when out
The staff were polite and friendly on arrival. The bed was comfy and there was good lighting in the bathroom. There was a socket by the bed (only one though, which was fine as I was travelling alone). The TV was easy to operate.
It was freezing in the room when I got back after an event in the early hours. As the staff member had apologised at check in for the aircon/heating being broken, and had pointed out there was an extra heater in the room, I had been aware of the problem. However, the extra heater was an oil filled radiator. It took 2 hours to heat up the room. I had left it switched on when I went out so it would be warm on return, but the sockets obviously don't work when you take your card out of the slot by the door, as it was off (worth knowing if you ever wanted to charge a device when out/in the dining room etc!) when I returned. I was too cold to get to sleep, even with the jersey I had travelled in, and socks, on over my night clothes.

Great location, lovely hotel. Friendly staff, hotel and hotel room were very clean. Would definitely recommend.
The reception being upstairs, also quite a tight squeeze when queuing. It was unfortunate for us that the room felt like a trekk to get too.
