    The lady at reception was quite rude, kept cutting me off while I was speaking and rushing us through check in (there was no one else around - she only went back on her cellphone after she was finished with us), the restaurant was closed but we had a menu in our room and we weren't told at check in that the restaurant would be closed which altered our plans and meant a late dinner once we ordered delivery from elsewhere.

    Although we add miner issues on this visit, it wont stop me from booking again in the future.
    Location very good, breakfast excellent the addition of grilled tomatoes and pancake maker gives a little more choice for breakfast. Unfortunately the room was a little disappointing on this visit, hairs in bed and shower cubicle. Only one teabag and no teaspoon for two people.
    The cleaning team could take a bit more time to clean the rooms after we found long black hairs in the bed and shower cubicle, unfortunately I didnt take photos of these. PAT testing (date and initials of tester ok) of electrical items may also need checking as the wire on the hairdryer was showing the blue and brown wire by the plug.

    Breakfast was great.
    Our room was super small, it wasn't cleaned one of the days so I had to flag this to reception and the hotel definitely wasn't worth the money. We asked for a bigger room and they were supposed to let me know however I never heard anything back. We are a young family and travelled with our young daughter and small dog. The location is terrible if you have young children with you as nothing is on the doorstep and you have to drive everywhere. People were running up/down the corridors, talking and bashing on doors and one of the mornings it was at around 3am, there are cameras in all corridors so you would have thought that reception staff would have done something about this. When I approached reception all they said was "don't worry it was people on tour and they have now checked out" not great to be honest as this was a very rare break away for us as a family. Aside from breakfast (which was the only good thing) no food is served until 3pm (again, no good when you have kids as you have to go off-site). My husband wanted alcohol free beers to which they didn't have so had to go off-site to the shop to purchase. Overall we were supposed to stay for 3 nights but only stayed for 2 nights as quite honestly we had enough and couldn't wait to get home for a decent night sleep. We checked out the day before and were told we could not get a refund on the one night we weren't staying and would only receive 10 back for the parking. Never again, it was very disappointing.

    Okay for a short visit
    Lovely sized room, very clean, comfy bed. Included breakfast was good with lots of choice. Parking available at 10 per night.
    Lift was a bit hit and miss, so used the stairs but not good if your less mobile. Good 15 minute walk into the centre and parts of the surrounding area look a bit run down.

    It was ok for one night.
    The staff were very friendly and helpful - the breakfast was tasty and well organised.
    The sofa was stained with what appeared to be large liquids marks - so was the carpet. It looked like the toilet hadnt been flushed, we couldnt work out what was floating in it and it had an awful colour to the water. The wall behind the toilet roll holder either had poo or snot smeared on it. We had to ask for the sofa bed to be made up, despite booking for four.
