Guests were extremely satisfied with the kind and helpful staff at the Holiday Inn Rugby-Northampton M1 Jct18. The breakfast options were diverse and delicious, with chefs willing to customize omelet (Read More)tes. The swimming pool and spa were enjoyable, and the rooms were clean and tidy with excellent service. The food and drinks were of good value, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall, a highly recommended place for families to enjoy a quiet getaway.

Good

All staff were absolutely brilliant- very well done to all involved.

I feel that for the price paid for the room, it should have been maintained to a higher standard. The bathroom door had appeared to be broken or forced at some stage, which was very poorly fixed and not replaced and not even painted. The shower surround just needed to be siliconed in areas.

We had to leave half an hour after we arrived due to perfume coming threw air conditioning duct or sprayed when room was cleaned my wife suffers with asma.this is second hotel chain we have tried to stay at but had to leave because off perfume being pushed around the bedroom or reception area.

Tired building in need of a makeover but helpful friendly staff and the basics OK. Great pool.

The staff were very kind and helpful. Leanne tried hard to find us a room with a socket near the bed for my husband's CPAP machine. The breakfast was very good.but the food in the bar during the day was dissappointing - essentially heated up mains and indifferent chips.The Caesar salad was excellent as was the Welsh Rarebit. The Bread and butter pudding was actually more like bread pudding. The steak was perfectly cooked rare. The beds were comfortable. An armchair and desk chair. The windows could be opened with a limiter. The shower was very efficient although the hose was squashed at the spray head end thus stopping the flow at times. There were a lot of stains on the armchairs. The hotel looked badly in need of a makeover. The pool was fantastic, very warm, clean.

The choice of meals included in the half-board option was very limited and more like bar snacks. Some areas were really tatty and dirty. Armchairs in rooms badly stained. Some bar staff seemed lacking in experience and training.

What it says on the tin a holiday inn experience

Spa was excellent value Pool was beautifully warm Friendly staff

As a couple it was a shame it was a separate boys sauna and girls sauna, so we couldnt be together, but understand for others that might be a plus point!

Great facilities, the most efficient room service Ive ever used, nice pool and sauna , friendly staff.

There was an unfortunate smell in the lobby and bar from blocked loos/drains , which was unsettling
