    Look no further! This hotel was by far the nicest room that I stayed in, and was not an outrageously priced hotel like near by Positano. The porters were very friendly and informative, the hotel was easy to get to by car (or bus), and it had an elevator to the main floor (stairs the rest of the way, but it's the Amalfi- so expect it). The hotel is on the "opposite end" of what most would say is the main square of Praiano- but I loved it. The "main" square was still a doable walk. I had an incredible private balcony that was ocean front- so watching the sunset over the water was just stunning. Not to mention the full moon that was taking place during my stay. The room was extremely clean, with all amenities you would need (the front desk has a garment steamer for you to borrow) and the Breakfast that was included was very substantial- not just sweet pastries. The best part was their private dock! I was able to get a private water taxi transfer to Positano so that I could enjoy the town and its beautiful shops and restaurants as long as I wanted, but didn't have to pay the price of staying there. Not to mention having that boat ride along the coast to get there- breath taking! Praiano was in my top two places I stayed along the Amalfi Coast- because it was such a quaint town, but had so much to offer. The proximity to the major Amalfi towns was ideal, but the authenticity of the town was the best. True family owned ceramic shops, family owned restaurants (my best meal was here in Praiano) and it even had an a nightclub bar in a cave, which was within a 5-10 minute walking distance from the Hotel. If you are planning a trip to the Amalfi Coast, you MUST book Hotel Villa Maria Pia for at least two nights, if not more!!

    Nice hotel in Praiano that you would be paying 2-3 times as much in positano
    View from the room and the grotto at the base of the cliffs of the hotel were amazing
    Its in a smaller town so not as much going on as in Positano but still some very good restaurants nearby

    Easy to arrive, the place is just wonderful, staff really nice and welcoming. We will come back thats for sure. Thank you everyone.Valet parking always ready.
    I would love maybe more fruit in the breakfast, the bed a little hard

    Top hotel on a magnificent location!
    We absolutely loved this hotel and enjoyed our stay. Incredibly clean rooms with very nice view. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff.

    A delightful and fabulous find.
    The property was nestled into the beautiful coastline of Amalfi, in the quaint town of Praino. The hotel staff made us feel so welcome from the moment we got there until the moment we left. They went out of their way to make doing and going places easy for us. The bar and restaurant and the view were outstanding. The rooms were comfortable, clean and uniquely decorated and showers and bathtub the best we had in Italy.

    Amazing experience. Will recommend!
    View was great, restaurant and access to the water is only for guests which kept it very private. Breakfast was basic needs and nothing great. The front desk staff and owners were absolutely amazing. They helped us at every turn. Great location to explore each direction and we rented a scooter right on the property!
    The breakfast could have been better.

    The staff were wondefully friendly and accommodating. The Villa was close to the beach and a short walk to Praiano Town Centre. It was a quiet retreat to rejuvenate after weeks of travelling.
