    Mediocre at best! Roaches and moth, not a good view. High floors on the condos should be open!
    I like the colors of the lights at night around the pool area illuminating. I like the outside bar, by the pool. I like the virgin daiquiris and pina colada. I like there was enough parking. I like the location of the hotel assessable to the beach and the strip.
    --I didn't like the initial nice favor of the young female staff member putting me into room 124, when I did request a view of the pool and ocean. The whole area appeared to be under renovation, many of the rooms were empty and some of the rooms had furniture stacked inside. I felt awful being isolated. Luckily, I was moved back to my original room of 141, which was much better in terms of cleanliness and location. UNSAT --I did not like when I was initially going to room 124, after coming all the way from Denver Colorado, that out in the hallway, they had a dead coach roach and then, when I opened the room door there was a huge moth inside and all the furniture looked very old. Not a very good first impression for me, traveling that long distance. --I didn't like there were too many people/kids that were occupying the jacuzzi, potentially spreading bacteria and germs. There should be a limit. --I didn't like the false advertisement/images of the hotel (pre-making reservations). I did not realize until I arrived, that when I requested to be on the highest floor (ex 14 floors), those rooms were the condos that customers like me couldn't not get. If I knew, I was only going to stay on either the first or second floor of the old buildings by the pool, I would not have made my reservation. The advertisement makes it look like anyone could stay in the condo apartments on the top floor overlooking the pool and the beach, which is not true. UNSAT.

    For the most part, it was a good place to stay.
    What breakfast? Room was clean. Loved the balcony with the view of the gulf.
    The TV did not work. The maintenance person fixed the problem. The next morning when I wanted to see the news and weather, the TV did not work again. Also, charging $22 for a margarita was ridiculous.

    It was not perfect, but I would go back again.
    Location, pool,overall atmosphere.
    Several things were not working1) sliding automatic door from registration, 2) washer on floor 3, 3) ATM out of order 4) no one working the beach chairs- locked up all five days. When I brought up things like it would be helpful to place an out of order sign, or the chairs- the desk staff said it was a third party issue. I found it frustrating that they took zero responsibility. Also-it is a beautiful place, built in 1959. Some of the doors showed their age. Inside our room was remodeled and looked good.

    The staff was really friendly. Juan and all the girls at the bar were very friendly and we had a great time talking with them. Rafael at the whiskey shake was really nice and remembered our order from the days before which is cool.
    Didn't care for the cockroaches but living on a farm I know how hard it is to keep the unwanted guests out of your stuff.

    Fabulous! Achieved my goal to relax and unwind from the stress of being a caregiver for my Dad. TY
    Couldn't spend as much time on the beach as planned due to the high winds, but the pool made up for it! Was nice to get the sun and not have to eat sand! Was very relaxing! The Cabana was clean and spacious. Good mattress and pillows were awesome. LOVED the bath & beyond "Stress Relief" products. I use them at home. Perfect choice!! Hot water in the shower was AWESOME!! Got the beach view I requested! Most important!
    Microwave would have been a nice perk for that leftover pizza from Russos. A/C wouldn't go lower than 68, which for most people is ok, but I am use to setting at 64 for ultimate sleeping conditions. A small fan to accommodate lack of air flow would have solved the problem for me.
