The cleaning staff were amazing and friendly

I booked a premiere room and when I arrived at hotel. Front desk just gave me a normal room and told me that is what I booked. Only after speaking to the manager was the fault rectified and i was upgraded. The other problem I had was my sister in law booked a room for her, her husband and 2 kids. When she got to the room, there were 2 single beds and the hotel said there's nothing they can do to help her. Remember this was something she paid for. I then gave her my suite so her kids could sleep in the lounge. Be careful before booking. They advertise for 2 adults and 2 kids but you only get 2 single beds

I like the new rooms and the renovation of the hotel. They give us large room with panorama view for Nile river. The reception was helpful specially Medhat. There was misunderstanding issue happened with the room but they solve it.

The location is fine. I did not like the food there in breakfast

A break from work and meet family but it was not as good as i thought. It was clean but not a 4 stars worthy.

Mostly, the discrimination is what got me. Both at the reception and th resturant. I have a dual nationality, at first they were uterlly rude but when i started speaking in English everything changed. I was not well looked after before they knew i was British. I am sure i am not booking there again as i was in tears the first 2 days. The room was not equipped with toilet ropes or slippers, not enough toilet paper and you can hear the strees clearly even when the windows were shut. I can't imaging how bad it would have been if i have accepted the dirty room on the dirty other side of the hotel. It is not a 5 stars worthy hotel

The location is good and the bed is comfortable.

The staff is rude, everything is overpriced and if you buy a drink outside the hotel but want to drink it in the cafe area, you need to pay a fee. All the double rooms are with a bad view, only VIP and high end rooms have a good view. The building is outdated and the hotel doesnt feel like a five star one. It feels like youre in a prison and I felt discriminated as I entered the hotel with my cousin who had dropped off some of my bags and we were stopped several times by the security staff and the hotel staff for no reason.
