    For a hectic weekend stay this was a relaxing a memorable stay.
    An excellent Hotel that was very well organised, great facilities, food and staff. A large hotel that has a homely feel with great rooms, excellent dining and great facilities for small or large groups. The staff were always focused, helpful and friendly with an impression that they all enjoy working there.
    For some the mattresses were a little too firm but that is a very personal expectation. The bedrooms were of a high standard and well kept.

    Great staff, lovely bar and food. Breakfast was great. Location also great for getting around Cornwall or walking into Truro
    Stay was ruined by lack of sleep. We had rooms 10 and 15. Both are down corridors with fire doors either side. Everytime someone walked down the corridor there was an almighty crash which shook the room! Unfortunately there was a wedding while we were there so this happened ed until 3am! Also outside the window was the staff area and kitchen. This meant we were awoken to chatting and noise from trolleys etc from 6am. For us, the night before we had a 7hr drive home we had zero hrs sleep which was not good! For this reason I would not book again.

    We were looking forward to a little break over Christmas but were disappointed with the noise level which unfortunately
    We thought the hotel was beautiful in an excellent location
    Our room was very noisy as we were above the kitchen, a very loud extractor fan started at 6am & continued until 10pm also at 6am one morning there were deliveries!

    A great place to stay and relax
    We enjoyed that it was close to the city. There was a large bathroom, comfortable, big bed and very delicious meals! However, if you want to use restaurant or afternoon tea meals, make a reservation first, because it was very full and no chance to enjoy if you just want to pop in.
    There was everything you need, even different kinds of teas and coffee left in the room. One thing that wasn't included were slippers, which were mentioned at the time of booking. However, carpet was soft and it wasn't a big issue if they weren't provided.
