Christmas at Village Hotel

The twin room my daughter and I shared was small but comfortable and clean. The shower was a good size and virtually walk in which was great. The television was huge and had access to lots of channels which was great over the Christmas period. Very accessible from M3 and easily found using Google maps . Sited next door to a huge ASDA which was useful especially the cheap fuel. Food was tasty in the pub grub area of menu range. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful.

It would have been nice to have a window in the room as the window was in the bathroom. Need something on table that indicates you don't have to use an app to order food. It was a rather complicated process even for my highly tech friendly daughter and for someone elderly would be a bit of a challenge. When I asked they were lovely and told me I could order at the bar but a little something saying that would have been useful. My daughter tells me that downloading the app is useful for the chain to send you advertising so likely to be promoted strongly . This is fine as it is a business after all but not to the detriment of ensuring a usual in person order is clearly indicated. The place was looking very festive and a Starbucks on the premises added to the festive coffee choices.
