Not what we expected from description & price
Very clean & comfortable room. Comfy bed. Great location. Easy to find etc. Lovely food, both dinner & breakfast.
The reception team didnt seem to know what they were doing. Never welcomed us, got distracted & failed to swipe our CC to set up an account. Told us untrue information regarding our dinner reservation ie in the restaurant. We arrived at the restaurant at 7.30pm to be told there was a private function & we would have to eat in the lounge. On check out no bill was given to us to check before payment was taken. We had to ask for a copy after to double check. Plug in electric heaters in room. No heating in bathroom ie towel rail not working due to new heating system (apparently)

Fabulous experience we stayed Six nights on holiday
The hotel was very well located and just a short walk Fifteen minutes to Oxford Centre via road or Thames Path weather permiting.
The hotel was quality amongst the best we have stayed at.
Superb breakfast selection.
We did not use the leisure facilities.
Above all else the staff and I mean all staff were superb,friendly,polite and professional at all times.

It was a fantastic stay, huge amount of parking in a great location only a 20 min walk to centre of town. Staff were super friendly rooms were large and the bed was very comfy. id suggest to add the breakfast huge variety and excellent customer service!

Apart from the parking, we liked it as did our friends On a separate booking
I thought they had a cheek charging 20 for a paying customer to park their car at the hotel. I will be posting a negative comment or warning about this on trip advisor. That was a rip off. This was my only gripe.

Restaurant disappointing on our first evening. Service very slow and after ordering sweets there was a significant delay before we were told one of the ordered items wasnt available so we chose another. We eventually got the food and then another arrived! Other diners around us were having similar issues. Appears to have been short staffed in the kitchen.
On leaving and paying the bill they originally included the unavailable item plus the replacement item .
Decided to eat at local Tapas pub the following night which was excellent on all levels.

The lounge music in the evening was much too loud. Temperature control of shower was difficult to adjust.
