Day 1 Arrive in Paro - Leisure Day
- Arrive at Paro Airport and transfer to a hotel in Thimphu.
- Check in to the hotel.
- Spend the day at leisure exploring around.
- Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 2 Transfer to Thimphu - Sightseeing Tour
- After breakfast, proceed to Thimphu.
- Go for a full day sightseeing tour including visits to National Chorten, National Library, National Folk Heritage Museum, Memorial Chorten, Takin Zoo at Motithang, Handicraft Emporium, and Choki Traditional Art School.
- Return to the hotel.
- Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 3 Half-day Sightseeing Tour of Monasteries and Dzong
- After breakfast, head on a half-day tour.
- Visit the 15th-century Changangkha monastery, Viewpoint, Tashicho Dzong, and Painting School.
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 4 Transfer to Paro and Sightseeing Tour
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Paro.
- Later, go sightseeing and visit the Drugyel Dzong, Ta Dzong National Museum, and Rinpung Dzong.

Day 5 Hike to Taktsang monastery and Visit Fortress of Drugyel Dzong
- Post breakfast, go for a day hike to the viewpoint of Taktsang monastery.
- Visit the ruined fortress of Drugyel Dzong nearby.
- Return to the hotel.

Day 6 Depart from Paro
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to the airport for departure.

I recently booked (Read More)a customized Bhutan tour package with MemoryMakers Vacation and they exceeded all my expectations. From the very beginning, their team was responsive and attentive, creating a bespoke itinerary perfectly tailored to our needs.
The accommodations were outstanding and seamlessly planned. Every single property selected for us was beautiful, clean, and offered stunning views of the surrounding valleys. The hospitality at each stay was warm and genuine, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
We never felt rushed and had the exact right balance of sightseeing and relaxation.
Our tour guide, Mr.Sonam was fantastic and extremely patient, and answered all our questions.
Special Thanks to our driver, Mr. Doranji who navigated the winding roads safely and kept our vehicle spotless every single day.
I have deducted one star as our smooth experience unfortunately fell short on the final day due to a major transport disappointment and Missed our last sightseeing. The vehicle provided for our last day towards Airport from Phuenstsheling to Bagdogra was uncomfortable, and not up to the standard of the rest of the tour. It was a frustrating end , otherwise it was beautifully curated itinerary.
Despite the final day's transport issue, I would still recommend this tour, but I highly advise double-checking your vehicle arrangements.
