Indira Gandhi International Airport is expected to observe an annual passenger capacity of around 100 million passengers by 2022. It also moved four places up to become the 12th busiest airport in the world in March 2018. To efficiently handle the passengers, Delhi Airport Authorities had announced earlier this year, in August, that the Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) would integrate Departure and Arrival Terminals of T1 building.Added Facilities
Other announcements included the construction of a new T1 Apron and fourth runway, dual–elevated Eastern Cross Taxiways (ECTs), landside developments for circulation and connectivity improvements and some modification works of T3 building.
