Situated near Badulla towards Passara road, Sri Lanka, Wewessa Ella Waterfall flows mainly during the monsoons.
With a height of 22 meters, this waterfall originates at Bathulu Oya. Due to illegal logging and colonization, Wewessa Ella Waterfall is quickly drying up. To prevent this unfortunate event, forest officials and the government are taking top measures to protect the waterfalls. This location acts as a beautiful spot to stop by while travelling between Passara and Badulla.
