The Memorial Wall in Kuta, Bali commemorates the victims of the October 2002 bombing on Bali which killed 88 Australian tourists, 38 Indonesians and 27 Britons, among several others. A Wall of Names pays tribute to these victims, and people from all over the world come here to pay their respects.
Memorial Wall is a unique attraction in Kuta that marks a tragic incident in the history of Bali. Three bomb blasts in the region on the 12th of October shook the world and took the lives of 202 people. The memorial wall is a permanent reminder of the attack. It is situated at the exact location where one of the blasts happened (Paddy's Pub) and bears the names of the victims. The attraction is located at a short distance from Legian.
