Boston Massacre Site is basically a cobblestone that is market at the position of the incident for commemoration. It was on 5 March 1770 that five civilians were killed by the British in gunfire, and that enraged the Bostonians. It led to the English being driven out of Boston for about four years.
The incident took place outside the Customs House and that is where the cobblestone lies. This site is also a part of the Freedom Trail and can also be visited individually. Once a year, on the day of the incident, that is 5 March, the incident is recreated by actors and it is spell-bounding to watch.
