Boston’s Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, also known as “Mission Church”, is a Roman Catholic Basilica built in the Romanesque and Gothic Revival style in 1878. The structure includes twin spires, stained-glass windows, an octagonal cupola-topped lantern, the Hutchings organ and houses the Shrine of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, (devotions held each Wednesday). Mass, prayers and hymns propagate the core message and the proximity of schools and hospitals attracts a considerable crowd.
