The Muradiye Complex, located in the Muradiye district of Bursa, Turkey, is an Ottoman-era architectural ensemble built by Sultan Murad II in the 15th century. It includes a mosque, madrasa, and the tombs of several Ottoman royals, making it a significant historical and cultural site. Known for its serene gardens and intricate tile work, the complex offers insights into early Ottoman art and architecture.
The mosque was the first building to be constructed in the complex and was restored in the year 2013. Today, the madrasa houses the Muradiye Quran and Calligraphy Museum, which is open on all days except Monday and has free entry. The hammam now serves as a cultural and educational centre and the soup kitchen has an Ottoman cuisine restaurant inside.
