Low Isles is a small coral cay located off the coast of Port Douglas, about 50 kilometers north of Cairns in Queensland, Australia. The islands are home to a small research station, a lighthouse and are surrounded by a fringing coral reef, making them a popular destination for snorkeling and diving. Visitors can witness a rich diversity of marine life, like colorful fish, coral, and sea turtles.
