Manial Palace and Museum

Located on Manial Island on the Nile River, Manial Palace and Museum is famous as an escape from the hustle bustle of Cairo. The palace is known for its details of decorations and arts on ceiling and walls. It consists of several halls with a botanical garden. The private museum is situated on the south side of the complex.

Manial Palace, also known as the "Manial Palace Complex," is not just a single building but a large compound consisting of several structures, each with its own unique architectural features and historical significance. The complex includes the main palace building, known as "Dar al-Hikma" or "House of Wisdom," along with reception halls, residential quarters, mosques, and lush gardens. 

Reception Hall: One of the highlights of the palace complex is the reception halls, which are adorned with exquisite decorations and furnishings. Intricately carved wooden ceilings, colorful mosaic tiles, and ornate stucco work showcase the craftsmanship of skilled artisans from Egypt and beyond.

Residential Quarters: The residential quarters offer a glimpse into the private life of the royal family, featuring beautifully furnished rooms and personal belongings preserved in their original state. Visitors can explore the prince's private chambers, the harem quarters, and other living spaces, gaining insight into the daily routines and rituals of Egypt's elite.

Mosque: The palace complex also houses several mosques, including the ornate Manial Palace Mosque, which features a stunning blend of Islamic architectural elements.

Gardens: Surrounding the palace buildings are meticulously landscaped gardens, adorned with fountains, pavilions, and lush vegetation.
