This is apparently not an ideal time to visit Chail because of its intense and harsh cold that will numb your body. The thick snow-clad terrain is ideal for indulging in a snow fight or ski. If you wish to trek, then make sure you cover yourself with layers of woollen clothes, gloves, caps and sturdy shoes to keep yourself warm and safe.
Chail in Monsoon (July-September)
Monsoon season in Chail begins from the month of July and continues till September. The temperature during this period varies between 13°C to 27°C. Although, Chail does not receive a high amount of rainfall, there are chances of landslides in the area. Being at such a great height surrounded by majestic mountain ranges, the whole place gets slippery. Hence, it's most commonly avoided by tourists. This time of the year is only for staying in and relaxing if you plan to visit Chail.
