The Aradena is a wooden planked, steel bridge on the south coast of Crete. It is also the world’s highest bailey bridge. The bridge links to the end of a gorge on one side and the abandoned village of Aradena on the other. Bungee jumping is also popular on the bridge due to its immense height of 138 metres.
Most people start their walk from the village to the gorge, where they come across a well-preserved Kalderimi (cobblestone from the Ottoman Empire).
