The Golden Triangle in Thailand is that part of the natural terrain, which islands situated in the far northern region of Thailand, between the borders of Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos. The borders of the three countries consist mostly of densely forested mountains, and the Golden Triangle overlaps with the mountainous terrain.
