Old St. Patrick’s Church also known as St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church or St. Pat’s is the oldest Roman Catholic Church in Chicago. It survived the Great Chicago Fire and is also often referred to as the “cornerstone of Irish Culture” in Chicago. It was added to the National Register of Historic places in 1977 and in present-day it is well renowned for the annual summer block party that it hosts.
