The Shree Ganesh Temple was the first-ever Ganesh Temple built in Chicago. The temple is an abode to a large statue of Lord Ganesha, which was imported from India. Built by a Devon Avenue businessman in 2016, it serves as a place for Hindus to practice their faith all year round. Every year the temple celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri, and other holiday events. It also conducts regular worship services to engage the worshippers to connect with religious practices.
