Kotte Raja Maha Vihara is a historic Buddhist temple in Colombo, built in the late 1400s by King Parakumbha VI. The temple is home to essential artefacts like a kabok tunnel used by the Queen to escape during enemy invasions, ancient drawings on walls, and bronze plates engraved with Makara Thorana. Kotte Rajamaha Viharaya has an ironwood (Na) tree instead of a bo tree like other temples, worshipped by devotees.
