The Archaeological Museum of Corfu houses findings dating from the 7th century BC to the 2nd century AD and was further expanded in 1994 to display finds from the ancient Citadel of Corfu. Its main exhibits include a collection from excavation sites of Cassiope, Thesprotia, Cenotaph of Menekrates, the Lion of Menecrates, Gorgon pediment from the Artemis Temple, the marble torso of Apollo, ancient coins, bronze, golden statues, and so on.
