One of the most popular camping destinations near Dallas, Dinosaur Valley State Park is perfect for an adventurous as well as historical experience. There are primitive, group as well as fully-equipped campsites near the river. Depending on the type of campsite, there might be lantern posts, picnic tables, water sources, fire rings, electric hookups, showers and restrooms.
