Situated at the Lake Texoma shores, Eisenhower State Park is a superb camping location since it offers different kinds of campsites, screened shelters and cabins. Featuring full hookup campsites, campsites with water/ electricity, overflow campsites, Ike’s Cabin and more, the park makes camping easy with amenities such as water, electric and sewer hookups, picnic tables, restrooms and showers, fire rings and tent pads amongst others.
The lake is suitable for swimming and fishing (there are piers), the trails for hiking or biking (the OHV trail is especially great for riding an ATV or dirt bike) and the swings for kids to play on. There are fossils on the property which can be photographed and also a lot of wildflowers for some natural beauty. Picnic pavilions or the recreational hall can be reserved for private events like birthdays or other get-togethers.
