Radha Kalachandji Temple, Dallas Overview
The Radha Kalachandji Hare Krishna Temple houses one of the oldest deity forms of Krishna outside of India. The idol dates back to 500 years of tradition in India where it was worshipped in opulence as the Supreme Godhead by thousand of devotees.
The temple was established in 1971, and in 1972 the deities of Shri Radha – Kalachandji were officially installed by Srila Prabhupada himself. The temple is also well known for its delicious array of authentic vegetarian Indian cuisine served in its restaurant. It is deeply rooted in the community of Dallas, and endeavors to give back to the community via its community garden, teachings, and food distribution programs.
