The Nancy Rutchik Red Maple Rill is a two-acre garden that is a part of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. The characteristic feature of the garden is the collection of over 80 different types of Japanese maples.
The view along the stream located within the park turns magical during fall when the entire park turns red. With water as the central element, the garden has extensive stonework and border-forming boulders. At the center of the garden is located a large100-year old weeping Japanese maple. The garden was opened in 2011 and contains many waterfalls and a re-circulating creek.
