The Rose Gardens of Farmers Branch, Dallas Overview
Located opposite the Farmers Branch lane, this Rose Garden was a gift to the city of Dallas in the honor of Ruthan Rose, a rose enthusiast and past president and member of the Brookhaven Garden Club and the Dallas Rose Society. Also known as the Ruthan Rogers Rose Garden, it is set up in a historical setting and was designed by Pam Smith, Dallas’ Park Landscape Manager.
This antique garden with over 200 varieties of roses functions with the mission to educate people about the selection and care for roses and insists on no pesticide or fertilizer usage. There are many tours as well as educational seminars organized during the blooming of roses.
