You will find many eating joints on both the routes. Davangere, 260 km from Bangalore is very famous for ‘Benne Dosas’. Swati Delicacy, a well know restaurant provides a variety of authentic South Indian cuisine options. The Rasam and Payasam are well known for their scrumptious taste. Tumkur District too has many restaurant options offering a variety of cuisines. Kamat Upchar in Tumkur is famous for its authentic local food. There is no direct train from Bangalore to Dandeli. Some of the railway stations near Dandeli are Alnavar (32 km), Londa (37 km), Dharwar (55 km) and Hubli (74 km).
