The Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts & Crafts is located in the Nejjarine Square, in the medina, or old city of Fez, and is housed in a beautifully reinstated 18th-century mansion. It holds a variety of traditional Moroccan crafts, such as carpentry, wood carving, and inlaid woodwork, as well as other artefacts and objects related to Moroccan culture and history. The highlight is the worn wooden boards used by Quranic recitation students.
