Tlos is one of the oldest cities of Lycia, a nation of the Mugla Province in Turkey. The ruins of Tlos are a popular site to visit from Fethiye. The history of the Roman Empire speaks through the Ottoman fortress, tombs, agora and amphitheatre that are decorated with Lycian art styles. It is situated on a hill with a view of the River Esen.
The Bellerophon, which is situated at the bottom of the hill, is the most famous Lycian tomb in Tlos. Many old buildings and baths have also been rebuilt to the Byzantine basilica in this ancient city.
