The Pharaonic Village, located 1 km away from Sakiat Mekki metro station in Giza, is a living museum giving an insight into the ancient world of Egypt and how people lived in Ancient Egypt. A highlight of this replica of farmers' markets, homes, and temples. It features 5 museums, a boat ride experience and cultural dance performances.

Founded by Dr. Hassan Ragab, a renowned archaeologist, this museum sprawls across 30 acres of land, showcasing intricate reconstructions of Pharaonic-era structures. Visitors to the Pharaonic Village can immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of Ancient Egyptian culture through various attractions. Explore a replica of an Old Kingdom tomb, witness the traditional art of papyrus making, and even take a ride in a ceremonial barge. Artisans demonstrate their craftsmanship in workshops, crafting everything from pottery to jewelry. Additionally, the museum boasts its own zoo, featuring animals revered by the Ancient Egyptians, such as crocodiles and hippos.

Important Objective Information

Different ticket booths outside museum charge different fees for similar packages. Move around the queues to find lowest price offered. Out of all five museums only two are worth spending time in.
