Guyana National Museum is an ideal place to get a peek into the countryÕs cultural, social and political history.
A perfect place for history buffs, Guyana National Museum is one of the largest buildings of Guyana that features some of the worldÕs most significant artefacts including from Europe and America. After the fire destroyed all of the original collections in year 1864, the museum today documents countryÕs history through collection of artefacts from all around the globe, including locally collected rainforest specimens, some odd artefacts and very old stuffed critters.
