Located a mile away from Hersonissos town, Old Hersonissos centre in Old Hersonissos is a small square in this quaint village stone houses and orthodox churches. The vibe is laid back and and the square boasts several taverns. A tourist train running from the square gives you small tour of this little village. You can reach here from Hersonissos town by simply walking uphill for half an hour, or take. a taxi or a bus.
There are not many shops at the center but enough stay options around Old town square and beaches are closeby. You can set a base here and explore rest of the hersonissos and neaby villages like Piskopiano and Koutouloufari.
