Constructed in 1653 by Chinese immigrants in Hoi An, Quan Cong Temple or Ong Pagoda is among the city's most sacred Chinese pagodas, demonstrating oriental and Confucian architecture. Decorated with elaborate statues and artwork, the main shrine and meditation hall are home to a three-meter-tall statue of General Quan Cong wearing a dragon-embroidered garb, precious artifacts, and paintings describing legends.
