Puncak is a mountain pass situated in West Java in Indonesia serves as a regular weekend hideaway for the people of Jakarta. It is the hotspot for some of the adventure activities while being majorly famous for its lush nature trails, botanical gardens, waterfalls and tea estates. Tea estate tour and paragliding are a few activities that lure people to visit Puncak besides the mountain scenery.
The mountain pass fans out within the skirts of Bogor, Cianjur, and Sukabumi and connects Bogor and Bandung. Puncak stands for “peak” and is loved for being a highland of fresh air and cooler breeze. The twirling road leading to Puncak Pass is flanked by undulating tea slopes and several rural settings can be seen. There is a line of three continuous waterfalls near the Puncak Pass to explore. The waterfalls are locally known as Curug Priok, Curug Naga, and Curug Barong.
