Located on the Southern edge of Corfu in the Lefkimi region of Greece, Kavos is a beautiful seaside city famous among youth. Home to numerous stunning clear-water beaches, seaside resorts, Kavos is a lively place known for its playful bars, clubs with loud music, scenic views and watersports.
This Ionian island is not as popular as Santorini or Mykonos, but is pretty famous among students from Greek universities and young couples looking for party scenes that include excessive drinking and dancing. Due to several clubs offering cheap drinks and due to the presence of cheap hotels in Kavos, it has become popular among bachelors. It is avoided by families for its noisy notorious settlement.
Kavos boasts a 2 km long huge sandy beach surrounded by lounges, bars and restaurants. It is fully equipped with umbrellas, football, tennis and volleyball pitches and activities like bungee jumping and water sports. Several clubs offer swimming pools and pool bars, which are popular among people visiting Kavos. It is often treated as a night stay or weekend. Many people visit the city for the night and return to their accommodations at dawn.
