What is the best time to visit Kayseri?
Kayseri faces a continental climate with snowy winters and dry summers. Even in extreme winters, Kayseri is a hub for tourism, given the ideal skiing conditions. If you are into skiing and other snow-related adventures, you must visit Kayseri post-September during winter. The Erciyes Winter Tourism Festival is also celebrated in September. However, if you are solely visiting the town for its historical sites and proximity to the sea, you should visit Kayseri during the summers, May through August. Since March and April are the rainy seasons in Kayseri, one must not visit Kayseri during these months.
