Being one of a small town in the nook of Himachal Pradesh, Kaza is quite limited when it comes to food options. However, you can mostly find Indian and Tibetan cuisine in and around the town.
The most famous dishes of Kaza consist of fresh peas and potato with gravy. Thukpa is also one of the major dishes which comprise noodle soup with steamed vegetables along with a hot sauce as topping. You can also find momos of different variety at almost every eating joint.
Another delicacy of the town is Tibetan bread or roti made from barley or other millet flours is soft and fluffy and is eaten with butter, omelette or jam.
